Hello from My Dog's Club 

We've flipped the model for dog training - stopping village hall or weekly field classes for a modern membership.  2020 taught us alot, rather then reverting to old habits, we are bringing the positive changes into our future services - because they work.

We offer Full support with blended classes - Online and in person (if you don't have online access check out our training club (and choose in person services) or our 121 Training support. We've got 4 membership levels to provide the support level you need and fit your budget. For group classes check out Club and course membership.   If you would live 121 support check out Behaviour club or our 121 training and behaviour services​

 

Bite- Size Membership

Dog trainers in your pocket, This membership will prevent or solve your dog ownership confusion.  There is sooooo much info available and everyone will have advice when it come to your dog.  This is a safe and supportive place to train at your own pace. Ask questions, upload videos and take part in training challenges.  No contract, stay as long as you like. The community is hosted on Microsoft teams (with a optional Facebook group) 

Bite- Size Membership

This is a monthly subscription which gives you access to our community - Clubbers 

For just £5* a week you get access to:

  • Bite-size training videos (value £25+)  

    • tutorial videos with live unedited training - stationing to greeting guests and food manners. We are continually adding to this, the group can also request videos. 

  • Professional advice (value £25+)

    • Don't get confused, ask the expert - a trainer in your pocket. We provide tailored advice with practical solutions

  • Monthly training challenges (value £20)

    • from loose lead skills to recall. Each month a theme will be decided by you and the group. See Events to check out whats planned.

  • Fortnightly talks  (value £20 each)-

    • focused topics with Q+A sessions. Decided on by the group - Safety tips while walking, keeping your dog social, boredom busters, Dog body language.  See Events to check out whats planned.

  • Your Dog training community (invaluable)-

    • where you can arrange walking partners and training buddies, share success and support each other from an owners perspective.  

 

All this for £25 a month. 

Club Membership

Your club to be proud of, we are.  This is flexible membership yet structured.  You have 5 clubs to choose from. Each club provides a different focus, to help your dog reach their potential.  With club membership you also get complementary BITE-size Membership (usually £25, with a value of over £80) details listed above.  Club membership is value packed,  for an investment of just £10 a week -

 

Club Membership

Join club and choose your group for the month - good dog obedience, Calm Club, Scent, Trick club and Happy Husbandry.  

 

These services are blended - a combination of in person and online.  Read our blog on online services - we have come up with over 50 benefits for you! Still not sure - you can have a week Good dog class trial to see how it works.

 

You get 5 credits to choose your services - booked easily with our booking system.  Services vary from 1-5 credits- spread them out over the month, with a little flexibility to fit in with life.​

Good dog   

    • Obedience and life skills classes - foundation skills through to advanced training.  You choose between classes (Online 1 credit ), Meets (in person 2 credits) and Clinics (mixture of online 1 credit/  in person 2 credits ) and Socials (in person 2 credits).  A training mix - classes to learn new skills, meets to practice, clinics to problem solve and socials to enjoy the skills.  More details  click here.

  • Calm club

    • (5 Credits pcm)- for reactive and distracted dogs.  Online to set you up for success.  Alternating live classe and clinics to give you a tool kit to work on skills to help your dog thrive, calm down, gain confidence and focus on you.  You can then switch over to another club to progress your training when you're ready.  More details  click here.

  • Scent club

    • (5 Credits pcm) perfect for all dogs that like sniffing, so all dogs.  Weekly online classes to skill up and train skills in the comfort of your home.  Perfect for distracted or reactive dogs.  Monthly  meets (last weekend of the month) for themed searches and challenges.  Also a great time to socialise with other owners.  Suitable for all dogs.   • Happy Husbandry

    • (5 Credits pcm) Husbandry is the day to day care of your dog - grooming, nails, health checks etc.  This is a class to build confidence and skills for you and your dog - zoo animals are taught this. I've chosen a few examples here, here and here.  This class is proactive in overcoming and preventing fears which often lead to aggression. Alternating fortnightly class covering 4 themes and Clinics to problem solve and practice. Tailored feedback and support too.  More details  click here.

  • Trick club -

    • (5 Credits pcm). Super fun.  Training tricks builds the bond you have with your dog. Training them teaches your dogs how to learn and you how to train. A trained dog has more outlets and can accompany you in more parts of your life. Our trick dog titles enabling you to work though the levels - earn barges for you dogs club bandanna. Classes are online and kits are sent to you as part of your membership.   More details  click here.

FAQ

Classes (value £15) are online - small groups, live training with tailored feedback and support. Demo dogs are class helpers. 

 

Meets Value £20 - maximum 5 people per group (one per dog).  Located in real life venues - parks, pubs, garden centers. All 5 miles from Bracknell - often decided by the group. 

 

Clinics (Value £15) - Online session (see booking links).  Practicing and problem solving skills using the training 3 Ds (Distance, duration and distraction) to progress training. 

 

Social (value £20)- for dogs that are comfortable around others to practice their training.  Off lead time for play and life skills practice.  Groups are planned to set you and your dog to succeed - Roxy and Elin will advise.

This is the most modern method of delivering effective dog training.  Still not sure - you can have a week Good dog class trial to meet us, other clients and see how it works.  If your unsure of online the Good dog club enables a in person only option (we’ve trained over 50 dogs in lock-down online we won't ever meet, the results have been mind blowing)

 
 

Course Club Membership

This is our vet recommended courses in membership form.  Packed full of support and value for effective dog training from puppy, teenagers to adults.  With membership you become a clubber and get all the benefits of Bite-size membership (talks, training buddies, Q+A etc) click here to see details.

                         £80pcm-  just £20 a week 

you get a fully supportive course - Puppy course membership, Adolescent course membership and Adult course membership:

Our courses have 2 sessions a week - this makes it super effective - one to skill up one to practice, problem solve and ask questions.  Each week has a real life theme.

Behaviour Club Membership

Focused 121 support with the benefits of Club Membership.  5 spaces available a month. 
 
Roxy and Elin are dog behaviour and training experts - tipple accredited.  Training sessions are focused on achieving your goals.  Roxy Bsc(hons) PRT and Elin IMDTB PRT will apply the most recent developments in dog behavioral assessment and training to work towards resolving behaviour problems.  We are proud to offer force free, reward based one-to-one dog training, behaviour counselling and therapy  
This membership is designed to provide 121 support with all the benefits of Club membership (and that includes bite-size membership too!).  

 

For just £25 a week you get a supportive behaviour package

  1. 1 hour 1-2-1 planned to meet your training goals - either online or in person (within 5 miles of RG12 7- further afield if available call to discuss)

Monthly sessions provides support, while giving time to embed the training - training is an event (daily training - arround 10mins daily will be needed as a minimal commitment).  Behaviour club can be used as a progression for current behaviour clients to embed the training modification plan or a top up for training clients.  Book a discovery call to discuss your requirements.  For more serious problems a full assessment would be needed via our training or behaviour 121 services.

Good dog club 

Named after the IMDT Good Dog levels -all dogs are good. In this club we will teach you life skills and obedience.  We teach what you actually need to know to help your dog thrive and love being a family pet.  Each week we cover for a real life scenarios.

We recommend spreading your session out ( see times above or click here for the good dog schedule) - maximum once a week as this is best for learning and gives time to practice the skills. There is always a little room for flexibility so you can fit session around life.

Good dog club 

Logistics 

Choose between  the following sessions, we recommend joining a class or clinic first to skill up before joining a meet or social.

Class (1 credit) - online life skills and obedience class 

            Tuesday 7pm and saturday 10am

Meet (2 credits) - In person Group classes (Near Bracknell Rg12 7) to practice (online alternative for those further away - although we've had people drive over an hour).  Parks, pubs, Garden Centers, sports fields etc

           Monday 10am, Wednesday 10am, Saturday 1pm and Sunday 3pm

Clinic (1 credit)- Socalisation tasks and flexible time.  We use the 3Ds to progress training.

           Wednesday 7.30pm and Sunday 11am

 

Social (2 credits)- for dogs that are comfortable around others to practice their training round others.  Off lead time for play and life skills practice.  Groups are planned to set you and your dog to succeed - Roxy and Elin will advise

Calm dog club Overview

A club for reactive and distracted dogs.  Quite often the underlying cause for these behaviours are the same.  By budding them up you benefit with an understanding training club.  We teach life skills to reduce and redirect reactivity and increase focus on you.  These skills give the foundation changes for your dog enabling them to learn (your dogs brain has to be in the right place - learning is harder if you're stressed or over excited, this is the same for dogs too).  Quick tips for big behaviour changes.  

Training between sessions will be needed, uploading videos so we can tailor the plan for your dog- Investment 10 mins a day.  Small changes in management are to be expected - walk locations, times ets You can tailor this to suit your dog and lifestyle.

Calm dog club Logistics

Fortnightly classes- Group online classes to teach your dog how to calm and focus - life skills, management and body language to give you a training toolkit to meet your training goals.

 

Saturday 10.10am or Tuesday Am

Weeks 1 and 3 (and 5 on longer months)

 

Fortnightly Clinics - Skill up challenges with pre-recorded tutorials at the beginning of the week. Upload your training for your tailored support and feedback. Scheduled clinic to problem solve and answer questions.  This gives you the task, flexible time to practice it and a problem solving session to tweak the plan.

Scent Club Overview

A club for dogs that love to sniff…..so that all dogs. Most owners have two goals when they set off for a walk with their dog: elimination and exercise.  The most important part of a walk for your dog is  engaging with the sense of smell.  Our dogs “see” the world through scent Scent club makes your dog happy. This is a blended club - online weekly classes with a  monthly meet.  This provides the best of both - perfect for reactive and distracted dogs, reduces travel, less distraction while still being social for you.

Training between sessions will be needed, optional video uploads so we can tailor the plan for your dog. You will have a full kit so practice is easy- we recommend 2 or 3 short sessions a week

Scent Club Logistics

This is a rolling course, join for the month and stay as long as you want - we alternate between active and passive search with added tracking and man trailing too. A dog’s sense of smell can be loosely compared to human sight.  
 

Groups are mixed ability and tasks tailored to you and your dog - Your team. Prerequisite - Scent introduction - a 4 week course to introduce the kit (provided) and foundation skills - check HERE for availability.

Meets - putting skill into practice

- Last week of the month- Wednesday evening and  Sat am. Classes are divided into two groups

Husbandry Club Overview

For ALL dogs. Husbandry skills are crucial to looking after your pet - grooming, health checks, stress free vet or grooming visits.  Super important for hairy hounds or dogs that are nervous of being handled, puppy prep to have a happy life and lifelong healthcare. Helping them build confidence and participate with the process will reduce and prevent stress (if left unaddressed this is likely to lead to aggression).  It saves lives, gives better test results for poorly pets and builds trust (the foundation to all good dog training).

Training between sessions will be needed, uploading videos so we can tailor the plan for your dog- Investment 10 mins a day.

Kit posted to your home - additional tools may be needed depending on your goals and dog

Husbandry club Logistics

Fortnightly classes- Group online classes to teach your dog husbandry skills - nail care, grooming prep, baths, formal handling (for vets and groomers) giving you a training toolkit

 

Sunday 1pm Weeks 1 and 3 

 

Fortnightly Clinics - Skill up online challenges with pre-recorded tutorials at the beginning of the week. Upload your training for your tailored support and feedback. Scheduled clinic at your class time to problem solve and answer questions.

Trick Club Overview

From play bow to ringing a bell. Lots of tricks have useful benefits too. A sport to spend time together and meet your dogs enrichment needs.  5 levels to work through.

Weekly classes- No prerequisites needed, you can learn as you go.  Perfect hobby for your dog. Great for dogs that don't suit group classes, busy schedules, with the benefit of social tailored dog training.
